Teams:
A team is formed when 12 players register and pay. There is no limit on team size, however, teams with less than 16 players should expect to receive free agents to reach a size of 16 players. Please be aware that the more players you register with your team, the less play time each individual will have on the field. The first 10 groups that register 12 players will become the 2016 Fall Stonewall Kickball Greensboro teams. Any groups that have not met the required 12 players will revert to free agents and will be assigned to the formed teams. We will do our best to keep groups together as requested.
Captains:
If you plan on being the captain of a team you will need to register first and then have players register under your team name. Should you need to change who is appointed as captain you will need to email greensboro@stonewallkickball.org.
Players:
I plan to create a team.
If you plan to create a team you will need to register as a team captain (see above). Then you can tell your friends to register as a team player and join your team. To become one of the official new teams you must register 12 players.
I plan to join a team.
If you already know with which team you are going to play, you will need to register as a team player. Keep in mind that you can’t randomly join any team; captains may ask that a player is removed from their team prior to the close of registration.
I want to play but I don't have a team.
That's fine! This league is about making new friends! Register as a Free Agent and you will be assigned to a team. ALL FREE AGENTS WILL BE PLACED ON A TEAM AT THE CLOSE OF REGISTRATION.
If you were unable to make it on the team of your choice due to capacity limits or you and a friend (or a few friends) would like to be placed together, please email us at greensboro@stonewallkickball.org with the subject "RE: Placement Request". We will do our best to honor those requests as space allows.
